
Of course there is not really any going out if you skip work- but I love my work and never skip a day just for the hell of it.

Then there is the constant running into parents whose kids I work with - but Ialready do that. I now live less than 800 meters or so from my workplace, and the groceryshops are just 50 meters from my frontdoor. I also became the teamleader (not captain) of Annas soccer-team, so you might say I am already a very big part of the community here. I like it that way - it makes me feel safe for my kids.

But the thought did cross my mind, that should I ever get laid off from work it would be extremely (bordering insanely) annoying living right next to my old workplace. But I feel extremely safe in my work - since I can do something nobody else can do at my work, and my boss is targettting me to be the big cahuna regarding a new system that is going to be built in to the institutions all over the "kommune" (municipality?).
