Then perhaps we should wait patiently, people? :)

But I couldn't add the Linux support. The sounds go missing when Linux codecs are used, and this game wouldn't be so enjoyable without sounds. But we are still working on it.
I am damn glad to see you really try to get a version for linux working :) It is sad that so many developers ignore linux :/ (On the other hand, there's many devs only doing Linux versions of freeware games.)

Finally I could finish the editing of the real proofread text. It took me days to edit the lines in order to make them work correct in AGS 0_o

For anyone who waits the proofread pack to start playing the game:
http://geocities.com/akk13us/MyExcuses.zip
Extract the Script3Sone.tra file into the folder of the game, run winsetup.exe and choose the Script3Sone.tra in the Language section.

And I have a good news to anyone who liked the game's story and would want to see its background:

I released the story analysis of LitN:

This had been such a highly personal and emotional documentation; you are warned.

Thank you! I may just have to play it again, to see what changes were made (and perhaps see another ending - may it speak well of me that I got the "Best" one in my first attempt ;) ).

I also read your "analysis" with interest. Storywise, it didn't contain many surprises, I think you managed to get the plot across even in the broken English version. :) However, it is quite a personal document to put up online, and those parts I could, of course, not see, playing it. I'm not going to offer false sentiments. I hope creating the game has served as an outlet for some of what you're feeling. I used to write dark poetry myself - much of it centering on suicide - when I was younger and coping with my own demons (not the same as yours obviously, but no less devastating to me - we are our own universe after all), which helped somewhat, putting thoughts into words. It would still take some years of success stories before I felt good about being who I am.

Your using personal dreams and anxieties as the basis for some specific, very disturbing scenes is possibly what makes them work so well. I liken that somewhat to the writings of Lovecraft.

Anyway, if the proofread is good, I will feel very positive about recommending this for getting hosted on CWF.

You should probably just go play the game. It's like reading a short story. A psychotic, disturbing short story, but maybe that's why I liked it.

Remember to play this with the newest translation pack, if you don't want to shake your head at gibberish English.

Anyway, this is an illustrated choose-your-own-adventure game, with maybe six or seven major paths, and as such isn't exactly rich in gameplay options. However, it is one hell of a cool, disturbing story with some very appropriately jagged graphics to accompany it.

Music lifted from famous horror games and a few other tracks, so not original, but for the most part fitting.

One might be hard pressed calling this a game, but if you can wrap your mind around a branching path picture book, it's a very cool story that takes some awesomely twisted turns. If that passes your judgement of what a "game" is, as it does for me, it's too cool to pass up.

The ending paths differ a lot, but most of the game is shared. I'm not absolutely sure how many paths there are, but 4-6 is probably right...
