Jetsquadron

The readme:
Jetsquadron
Version 1.0
A Jetstar Games Production
www.jetstarforever.com

Started in late 2006 and
finished on 3/23/2007 at 1:15 PM

About this version:
A "city" level is included, it is unfinished and should not be played unless you want to see some
wacked out coding and debug stuff.

Controls:
Mouse Left: Shoot
Mouse Right: Shotgun
1-3: Weapon selection
Z: Suicide

Story:
You are the last remaining line of defense between the U.S and Mexico border. Torn between
the oncoming Mexico Suicide Bomb Squad (MSBS) and the rising urge to jump off the railing and swim to
shore, you wait a moment, and decide to see what it looks like to blow a plane to pieces with an oversized machine gun.
This was my first completed game in GameMaker. I'm kinda surprised I released this, due to it being a buggy mess. As you can see, I released the game in 2007, so I've improved a lot and now see how bad this game is.

I just downloaded your game. I will tell you what I think about it as soon as I find the time to play it (might take a few days)...

I am sad to say that I agree with you ... :(
It is rather hectic and not in a good way... I couldn't have done it better, but I have an idea that you could :D (at least now).

Haha, thanks for being honest Chroelle! Just thought I'd post it here to get some better feedback even if it is old (I can still learn from it). I have a feeling that the ideas are there, just not executed correctly.

Your welcome :D
Well I mostly felt like I was hurled into the middle of something I didn't really understand.

Have you made something since then that we should know about? I would love to try something that you made later on.

I'm currently making three new games, but I'll have to make a topic for my main project.

Already in the beginning, it's quite hard, with a lot of ships coming, but later the number of ships gets just ridiculous so it's logically impossible to keep up. The gameplay hasn't been balanced at all. Mildly good music though.
