You must use your wits, combat skills, and leadership ability to guide your squadron through several possible mission paths that will either lead to a climactic victory or complete destruction. Somewhere between a shooter and a space sim, but not enough of either to really catch on. The campaign difficulty is very up and down, and the AI is not really up to par. What's great is the voice over on the tutorial and the choice between several different levels. For the space sim/space shooter fans, there might be something worth finding here.

Played some missions today and I have to say that I like it. After you get used to the controls (it helps to have the key list on your desk) it isn't too hard anymore to defeat the enemies (the first time I played the game I didn't even manage to get through the tutorial). At least in the first few missions.

Graphics are ok, sounds and voice over are nice.

But one thing is bad: In the campaign mode there isn't a real story (except for "bad aliens are threatening us") and this takes away much of the atmosphere.
