Montezuma's Revenge Remake (3D)

You have to play Panama Joe and explore the pyramid of Montezuma which is full of traps, Spiders, Snakes and rolling skulls (but also full of jewels)...

In my eyes this one is an excellent remake. They changed the (background) graphics to 3D, made an atmospheric soundtrack and completely restored the fun of the original game. Also it is playable for beginners as well as for experienced games, because there are five different difficulty levels (from "extrem easy" to "extrem hard").

I give this kudos for being a 3D remake of an old classic platformer. It's not one of my favorite platformers, but it does have its followers. Very hard, kind of boring to look at for long, but those in need of an updated retro platform game will find it here.

Version 1.2 of "Montezuma's Revenge (3D)" has been released. There are several improvements that make the game more enjoyable for beginners. Some of the most important:

- In the Easy and Super Easy Modes is more easy jump enemies and Panama Joe have more lives.
- Added text help in the first map. ( Controls )
- Increased speed when Panama Joe runs.
- When a map is in total darkness, The enemies are visible. ( Like Original Montezuma's )

There are also some bugfixes and general improvements like added shadows to the enemies, improved AI or fixed problems in animation. For a full list you can read the readme file that comes with the game.
