Star Wars Fleet Commander - Clone wars

Post by Chroelle »

Well this one is for all the Star Wars fans...

No that is not how this goes... This is actually a good game, and not just a name-drop.
You play as a commander of the republic that is to defend a canyon from invasion forces. You have 3 guns to help you out with this task. You have 5 groups of Clone Troopers, 4 groups of Jedis and 2 airstrikes to help you out in each wave... You lose the game when either 50 enemies have passed you or you loose all three guns. Funny enough I lost my last gun when I was all out of men and there was one enemy walking towards my gun shooting it. When he passed he would have been number 50 to pass.

Great game. It kept me occupied for more than an hour.

Developer: CleckCorp (Which was shut down - and the creator of this game stopped making games)

Game can be found:

License: In his farewell post in another forum Heth the leader and creator of the game mentions that his games will be found on many other freeware sites, so I think we can host it too without any problems.

Horizontal Space Invaders in the Star Wars Episode I universe. Reusing the same tactics over and over lets you complete levels almost indefinitely. Not fun forever, that's for sure, but then Space Invaders wasn't fun forever either.

this sort of game has a lot of faces. We have seen a few already here at CWF, and this one is simply better than the ones we have seen so far. The theme is kept intact and the music supports brilliantly. I am saving my perfect scores for another game like this that might have a prolonged gameplay. When I added the game I had already played it for an hour, and after that I have played it for a couple of hours also, so all in all it has replayability and gameplay enough.
I think there is no doubt it fits our site.
