Space Resistance is a Space Invaders style action game. You're in control of a cosmic ship and you have to destroy dozens of alien life forms. There are two game modes. In the story mode your task is to repel the aliens from your planet and eventually from the whole universe. In the survival mode you have to resist new and new waves of enemies as long as possible. Various bonuses which you can buy for points acquired by destroying enemies will help you during the course of game. Every ten levels you will be able to upgrade one of the attributes.

Well, Im not a very big fan of space invaders, so I wont place the banner in my forum signature, but thank you for your post. Your game looks really professional and it will surely be checked by our team, maybe some day it will find its way to our database (if it can be freely distributed). Unless it has some really annoying bugs and crashes every 5 minutes, but it doesnt seem to be the case. :D

I have to say that your game was quite a positive surprise for me. Normally "Space Invaders" clones are pretty boring, but this on was good fun to play. There is some variety in gameplay because of the different game modes, the level design (with different enemies), the bosses and the bonuses you can use. Also the graphics look retro, but still very stylish and the soundtrack is simply great.

Well done, two thumps up from my side! :goodjob:

Just one question: Is there a fullscreen mode? The normal key combination didn't work for me.

I played it some more and here are some small hints to even improve this nice game:

a) It is a little too easy to complete the campaign mode. Level bonuses can be obtained too fast and with a certain strategy, it is nearly impossible to fail. I completed the game with my second try and had about 15 lives left. So I would suggest different difficulty modes.
b) Fullscreen mode would be fine.

Some constructive criticism:

-fullscreen mode would be nice
-campaign mode is too easy; the fact that you have unlimited tries to repeat the level where you died makes this mode impossible to not beat - you should think of making the game harder or add difficulty levels, because for die-hard gamers your game might be too relaxing (not for me, not born for this type of games)
-bosses are too easy to beat (except the final boss), in fact they are easier to beat than many normal levels
-game becomes slightly monotonous with time, enemy waves always follow the same pattern, moving right and left and not vary much - only some require more hits to destroy; adding the fact that game is easy later levels feel not much different than first ones

Apart from these, graphics, music (not original, but well-fitted) and overall atmosphere are great.
