The classic adventure game Dragonsphere is now available for free at GOG, if someone is interested.

And it looks like it is CD-ROM version. I owned abandonware version many times, but the only one which circulated around web was floppy one. At least I dont remember filesize that big, usually it was around 14 Mb afair.

What's this gog site anyway? It doesnt look like normal shop, they seem to sell only old titles. I wonder what's the trick behind this gimmick.

What an amazing site. I might even go and buy something from in there... :)
They of course only have so many games, but still there are some true gems of yesteryear!

But Dragonsphere... Doesnt work this version, with DOSBox or without. Probably I dont mount iso image properly.

Would you believe I never finished this game, it was tough one. Just like Rex Nebular.

Well, you need to sign-up to download it so they hope you might visit their site more often and maybe be interested on the other old games that they have for sale.

The nice thing about GOG is that not only are the game free of any DRM, they are also patched and made to work on modern machines (ie. you don't need DOSBox or anything). (even though usually it just means they have bundled DOSBox with the game).

GOG - Good Old Games - I've been looking at the site a few times, but never made a purchase.

GOG's agreement with Team17.

I think this thread should be renamed to GOG.com or something. 8)
