There are backups, but the problem is that restoring just one forum is a bit difficult.

Because the restoration is a bit of an all-or-nothing approach. It's quite easy to restore everything but not just specific things. The backups I have are not exactly from today, so I would rather not restore everything.

I would like to blame phpbb3's confusing user interface. ...and not having an undo button.

Same here. I only remember that there was Guess the Commodore game -thread, but I can't remember any other threads.

Guess the PC game and Guess the console game.

The true problem is that now I have 3960 posts instead of 6750 and it seriously affects my self-confidence.

It isn't the amount of posts...it is the quality of those posts that matter eMTe...

phpbb3 doesn't offer a backup package viewer or anything like that I take it? ...too bad...
