Taosu

Post by Pater Alf »

I'm not sure if "Taosu" is the correct name of this japanese game and I have no idea where I downloaded it, the only thing that I can say is that it was probably build with a japanese engine called "Wolf RPGEditor" (developed by SilverSecond). But I like the game and so I will still open a thread for it.

In "Taosu" you are a hero and have to slay every monster in each level. The monsters have a different amount of hitpoints and once you killed them, you will get the points as experience points. You can only fight the monsters when your experience points are higher than the opponent's hitpoints (e.g. you can't kill an enemy with 15HP if you just have 12 EXP). When the monster is dead a tombstone will appear that you can't cross anymore. So you have to plan your way through the level carefully to be sure that you can kill all enemies without getting trapped.

Hmm, my description sounds a little weird, but you should try it out, it isn't that hard.

The English name is "Hero! Defeat the Demon!" or something along these lines, because it is informal, game was never translated. Anyway, it crashes for me right after the main screen appears.
