A newer RPG maker game with 15 hours of playtime.
The story:
in the past, the world of Legionwood was prosperous and had developed to a high stage technologicaly, but then something happened that destroyed the cities.
They were kicked back technologically and had to develop society from the bottom up.
After more than 2000 years had passed, they had developed themself to what was equivalent to the terran medieval period, and were rediscovering past inventions.
But then came what was later described as the Great War.
After having fought for years the different nations made peace.
Different treaties managed to keep the peace, but over time it has grown unstable because the bonds of old time has become weak.
The kingdom of Charn has invited the past rival kingdom of Trevelle to a celebration of the the kings daughters birthday. You play as a local boy and girl who are going there too, because the common folk are also welcome.

Re: Legionwood - Tale of the Two Swords
Is it weird that I see a game name on the forums and before I go to see what it is, I already know that it is going to be an RPGMaker game?

This was the game I had settled on to renew my interest in freeware RPGs. Sadly, it crashes every time I finish a combat (win7).

Power of stereotypes. They are usually bashed, but for me, they make up for 99% of the truth about the world. Especially gaming world.Chroelle wrote:Is it weird that I see a game name on the forums and before I go to see what it is, I already know that it is going to be an RPGMaker game?
