Saut

Post by Pater Alf »

Lead your character to the level exit. The only actions you can perform is jump (short jumps and long jumps) and slide, so it's absolutely necessary to plan and time your movements correctly if you want to survive.

Nice and well designed one button platformer that was made for the Game Jolt Minimal contest.

The design might be similar, but the game concept is completely different.

Thanks for noticing my game. I really love Knytt so there might have been some unconscious influence. :)

Visual influence cant be unconscious. On the contrary, it's always blatantly conscious. As for the overall concept, Im yet to try your game, so no comments. ;)

Yeah, but I fail to see the similarities as what defined the art style is the floating island and black silhouette.

However, except for the higher resolution graphics, it looks more like his most recent game Night.

True I would say. "Knytt" looked much more stylized, artificial and colourful than this game. And as said before the game concept is completely different. So maybe we should stop comparing these games ;).
