Space Taxi 2005

Post by Pater Alf »

A remake of "Space Taxi" one of my favourite games on the C64 (originall developed by John F. Kutcher). You are the pilot of a space Taxi and it is your job to pick up passengers and take them to another platform. The faster you are, the more money you gain. But be careful! Of course there are lots of obstacles and you better should not destroy your taxi and kill any passengers doing so.

The game calls itself a demo, but as much as I can see it is fully playable. There are several level sets, three different game modes and the game can be played in four difficulties.

Can't find where to get it. Maybe it's been removed from the site.

The "Server 1" download should work. If it doesn't, I can upload the game to our FTP server.

This is a good game that makes you busy managing costs for fuel, collission shields and still trying to complete within the timelimit.

I loved the managament part, and teh flying once I got the hang of it. The first playthrough I did I kept dying, because I crashed the Taxi into the fuel platform, hoping it would refuel...When reading the instructions I figured out that there was a landing mode... :)
