Barren

Post by eMTe »

Barren is a fpp point'n'click. It tells the mysterious story of humanoid creature of unknown origin stranded in a strange world. Postapocalyptic-looking settings, spooky music and overall feel far from usual AGS experience. Because it's not AGS.

I really wanted to like even love this game. The concept and idea is new, the story is original (but way to incoherent), the beginning is so promising, and the interface something new. I loved this - and then the game took off for real, and I had no idea what to do, and then I did stuff because I could... and I could, but it made no sense.
This seems like an artistic work at times, but also has the same feeling that you get from some works of art - that you dont quite get the point completely.
