Task manager - error

Post by Chroelle »

I just read eMTe's topic about his taskbar missing icons, and decided that I would do something about my issue as well.
My Task manager sometime months ago decided to skip the whole user-controlable frame and just show as on my screenshot.
This means that when I open it by either pressing CTRL ALT DEL or by selecting Task Manager. It seems I cannot close nor do anything else with it. I can close programs but not the task manager...

And more or less just as I decided to do something about it I actually found a solution to the issue. It seems my task manager was in footprint mode. Its pretty hard to get it to go back into that mode, so it was a fluke tht I succeeded in the first place. :)

Process Explorer is a more fancy version of the task manager. I sometimes use it to unlock folders that has been locked by processes

It looks interesting, but I think I would propably destroy my computer if I had that onboard. :) I fear I would somehow unlock the gates of hell through my C-drive.
