A game of logic and strategy in which a disgruntled employee has scattered the mail all around the postal building and your job is to gather all the letters again. The playing surface is vertical, with gravity trying to pull everything down. You can move left and right, pickup and drop objects on top of each other, push reels and travel up and down in elevators (which themselves can be picked up and dropped). All these things will help you achieve your goal of reaching the letters that seem out-or-reach. One of the letters also contains a secret message which will only be discovered after all the letters have been collected.

The game has an impressive amount of levels, and you can propably get more. There is a level editor to make your own levels, and lots of different interactions, BUT..
The extensive clicking of directional keys and moving boxes around got too much for me. And the lack of backgorund music was somewhat disturbing since it could have softened out the very annoying sound effects. But overall a good game with lots of possibilities and game time for anyone who really loves the genre.

That one is much, much better than "Math-a-Maze" which I played some time ago and which was made by the same developers. Again the presentation is a bit dull (regarding graphics and sounds), but that's not the most important thing for a puzzle game.
More important is clever level design and that is where "Mail-Room Madness" has its strong side. There are 70 levels and none of them is very easy. Even the first beginner level is that hard, that I had to try several times, before I was able to complete it. So you will really have to use your brain if you want to make it to the end of the game.
There are also additional 75 levels you can download from the homepage and a level editor to create your own levels. So despite to the dull presentation this game will give you several hours of challenging puzzles.

Interesting how easily you can turn average puzzler into great puzzler. Just drop the "exit" idea. Without exit point of some sort logic game becomes non-linear. Like an open rpg. You have whole screen at your disposal and you can start almost everywhere and end almost everywhere, unless you figure out where to start, but that's the whole fun. I think best logic games are these similar to M-RM, compared to those with "exits". Must check my theory and find which classic logic games are usually top rated by gamers.
