LGeneral is a turn-based strategy engine heavily inspired by Panzer General. You play single scenarios or whole campaigns turn by turn against a human player or the AI. Entrenchment, rugged defense, defensive fire, surprise contacts, surrender, unit supply, weather influence, reinforcements and other implementations contribute to the tactical and strategic depth of the game.

Re: LGeneral
This game needs manual for people who never played Panzer General or any similar hex-based games and may be confused what to do at all. There's not even the smallest readme in folder.
Also, I have trouble running it in fullscreen mode, screen just goes black.

Re: LGeneral
This feels very much like an unfinished game.
It lacks documentation for what the different buttons and numbers mean and how the game works.
I get the basic principle of the game, but i'm missing more specific information, like what units are strong against what.
In the music folder of the game there's only a txt file named "empty".
When you open the only campaign there is in the game, it reads "Go for Lodz and blablabla", so it seems a bit like there wasn't put a lot of effort into it.
When i try to change resolution or go fullscreen, the game closes.
Other than that, the game seems to play as it should, as far as i can see, so if you can look past the shortcomings of this game, i'm sure you'd be able to have some interesting plays.
