Recently Dan's wife left him, taking with her most of his worldly possessions. Declaring bankruptcy cleared his debt, but he has been living off scant casual work for a while now and can only just afford to keep his small suburban apartment.
Dan has taken up a job at a carnival, working for a tyrannic employer Boss who seems to live only to be the bane of his employees. As you can see Dan is confined to a putrid bear costume, and forced to pander to children's amusement, which all too often means bruises, aches and pains for Dan...but he needs all the work he can get.
But today, after a cruel beating from an inhuman little monster, Dan's boss uses the feeble excuse of poor language to relieve Dan of his wages, those same wages Dan was counting on to keep his apartment...
It then only takes small incentive from the bladder of a poorly trained pet for Dan to decide the time has come to exact his vengeance.

Hmm, I'm not sure what to think about this game. It seems the developer is a very angry and frustrated man (or at least he was when he developed the game). On the other hand the game has a certain humour that takes away some of the ferociouness that you have to perform during the game (like kicking dogs or killing a fat kid and your boss).
"Grr! Bearly Sane" is quite short, but it isn't easy to complete the game as your character won't perform several actions when your anger-o-meter isn't high enough and so you never know if it is senseless to try or if you have to be just a bit more angry to succeed.
