In the present day, or at least what science-fiction writers fifty years ago would have imagined the present day to be like, is an island floating in space somewhat near Earth. On this island live long-faced, bug-eyed, tentacled aliens called Ekrats. In addition to being filled with these locals, the aptly named Ekrat Island is a popular spot for human tourists to visit. Every day, hordes of humans arrive on the island in little spaceships to enjoy many facilities including but not limited to the Horniverous Devil restaurant, Baked Potato's Bar and Disco, and the new attraction specially built for humans themselves, the HumanCoaster.

Until, of course, all the humans start to disappear. And the ships transporting them to and from the island are no longer in service. This is bad for the Ekrats; humans, being wealthy tourists, help the Ekrat economy greatly.

And so, one day, there is only one human left. In an attempt to find her companions, she enlists the aid of Ekrat Island's only (yet somewhat reluctant) private investigator, Cubert Badbone. In this cheesy, low-budget game, you play the part of that private investigator. Now what are you waiting for? Go find those humans!

I really like Deidra Kiai's games. It seems she sits down and thinks about the story of her games a bit longer than most of the other "amateur" adventure developers do. Also all of her games have a distinctive graphical design and a great soundtrack.
