I think this card game is known under the name "Uno" in most countries. The aim is to drop your card as soon as possible and prevent your opponents from doing the same (by playing some of the special cards).

Not as much fun as playing it with friends, but a nice time pass if you want to play a different card game instead of just Solitaire or Poker all the time.

The game is beautifully made and plays very well. There are only a couple of things that deducts in my oppinion:
1. The lack of option to forget to say One. This is very crucial when playing this in real life.
2. The fact that you cant play two similar cards at the same round, which is something that almost defines how well one plays the game, and thus ends up making this more of a game of luck.
3. A lack of options to change the rules. Alot of different ways to play this game is something that defines it all around the world, and thus it is rather annoying being forced to play this the way the developer is used to.

I want to be able to:
Up the number of cards you should take when you can't do anything to 3. Be able to yell One when I am down to one card. Be able to put similar cards down in one go instead of limiting this to 1.

I remember when I worked for the Waukegan Police, three of the ladies in records-keeping department, would spend TWO HOURS each day, playing Uno. They would take their allocated breaks, and lunch hour at one big time, and eat while playing Uno. Roger, one of the traffic enforcement guys, would join in for a half hour or so.

Eventually I did too, but I never even took my full hour of a lunch break, so I would play for maybe ten to 15 minutes. This ought to bring back some memories.

Will be downloading!

I'm not a big fan of computer adaptions of card games. The simple reason is that the fun it is to play cards with friends can never be simulated while playing against an AI.

But this one works pretty well, is fun to play and technically I can't see any flaws.
The only thing I would've wished for is an option to change/modify the rules. I think it's annoying that you can't play a "Wild Draw 4" any time during the game and that it's not possible to counter a "Draw 2" card with another one.

The game has been added to CWF's database. You can download One (for Windows and Mac) from our game info page:
