Stargirl and the Thief from the Exploded Moon

Bernie has made a new platformer called "Stargirl and the Thief from the Exploded Moon". It's just a 2 week project and so I assume it's not perfect, but again it has very nice graphics and we meet our old friend the Kitty in a very funny intro.

Can't say anything about the gameplay as I haven't played much of it now, but here's something Bernie wrote:

"NOTE: This is a total rip-off of Cave Story, Super Mario Bros 2, Donkey Kong for the GBC and Darkside Adventures and therefore you shouldn't play it at all! It's also a frustrating game overall. In other words: Not much different than the other games I've made!"

Heh, a ripoff of SMB and Donkey Kong? Sounds like fun to me. I just went to download it.

Am busy at the moment, but will play very soon, as in a few hours soon.

A bit on the minimalistic side, but still excellent gameplay, with lots of Mario feel to it. Stargirl is a good way to go for Bernie, as Kitty might be involved but might be suffering from overexposure IMHO.
