This game came about because I'd drawn some Pacman-esque sprites, but didn't really want to make a generic Pacman game.
And, let's be honest, there's enough Pacman clones out there.
What there isn't, though, is enough Flicky clones.
So, after a few days making a decent platforming engine, I decided to use it to recreate one of my favourite Sega classic.
It's not a total recreation, and in fact it's quite a bit off course, but as it stands it's still a pretty decent game.
The game features lots of blocky sprites, and loads and loads of colors!!
Basic aim of the game, grab the little blocklets and take them home.
Dodge the monsters.
The more blocklets you get through the door at once, the higher your combo score.
And that's about it.
With 3 different worlds (background changes!) and an infinite (probably) supply of levels, this game will keep you playing for at least 5 minutes.
There's a Youtube video if you want to see the game in action, or alternatively you could just Download Blockman. And why wouldn't you? It's a lovely game, and it's nice and small, too.

I watched the YouTube video, it looks delightfully like an old-style arcade game. Sure looks like a fun game to spend a few minutes on when I have nothing else to do.

I think this is a wondeful passtime, and a nice new way to think Pacman. Well done!
