Your favourite flash movie.

Post by Parvini »

Over the years, I've seen a few...

Let me just offer here my favoruite 5 here:

1. Final Fantasy 7: About Random Battles: I LOVE this flash movie. Not only does it highlight one of my chief bugbears with Japanese RPG games but it is very very funny, probably the best voice-over work ever in a flashfilm. The Legendary Frog makes great flash movies.

2. The Good and Evil: Beautiful flash movie which is poetic in its hermenutic indeterminacy... possible to take this as a simply morality tale or analyse it further revealing "good" and "evil" to be relative categories. Genius.

3. Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom (Parts 1-4): Best sprite film EVER, a true epic and seeing Mario die in the start almost brought a tear to my gaming eye. Full of neat references and well written, Randy Solem should be employed by Nintendo to write the storylines for future Mario games.

4. Peter Godly: Neighbouring Nations: A very funny short with an uncomplicated but important political message in this age of incrasing religious fervour and intolerence.

5. The Great Swindle: A great flash film about the legendary bandit Dick Turpin by the brilliant Ivan Rip, one of the all-time best flash movies.

The Bible teaches you that thou shalt love thy neighbour. Kama Sutra teaches you how.

I have severel favorites flash movies/games..

To name a few:
Ultimate Showdown
A funny asciigame - Roflcopter
An ascii musicvideo of Rammsteins feuer frei

Praeterea censeo Carthaginem esse delendam! - Cato
There are 10 types of people in the world: "Those who understand binary, and those who don't."

These three are my favorites, and I've posted them on a few forums now. Suspect quite a few of you have probably seen them, but they are so well done and funny, that it's worth watching them again and again :).
