SubTerra

Post by eMTe »

SubTerra is an exciting puzzle game requiring a good mixture of reflex action and thoughtful planning. The premise is simple: grab the gems and head for the exit. Complications include traps, duplicators, moving blocks, conveyor belts and monsters, and the evil Skull of Doom!

With over 100 game objects and two difficulty levels, SubTerra guarantees plenty of variety on the way down. The game includes demo recording and a level editor, and a high score table is kept on the web.

I think this is a good quality puzzler with lots of content and an interesting background story. It has some enjoyable classical midi's playing in the levels.

A nice "Boulder Dash" clone with some features that wasn't in the original game on the one hand and a little dull level design on the other hand. You have to play for quite a while before it gets exciting or even challenging.
