[align=justify]In December 1999, three highschool friends came together to form PhenomenaGames. Through the years, they gained experience and technologies while building 3D graphic engines. Although now seperated, the spirit of these three founders still lives on in the projects.
At present day, the team consists of several more or less serious programmers and artists. Their mission is to develop and share 3D graphics technology in the spirit of open source.

In September 2005, a new engine project was started in order to implement the latest technologies. Some of the focus points were:
- Full shader support using OpenGL 2.0
- Stencil shadowing
- Full per pixel lighting
- OpenAL sound support
- Cross platform using SDL
- Code entirely in C++
- GNU GPL license
In a few months time, a prototype was presented showing the graphical and cross platform capabilities. The new engine was called Existence 2.0 in honour of it's predecessor: the Existence Engine.

Remorse is a game about fighting for survival, honour and friendship.
It will feature Aliens, tense gameplay, a solid story with some unexpected plot changes, and much more.
Remorse will be released for Windows, Linux and MacOSX and will be free for download and open-source.
You are Wynn Hale, a direct descendant of the Mortae.
When the aliens find Azurea, our new home, special cleaning squads are being sent out to apprehend all humans and to enslave them once again.
When your transport out of the danger zones gets ambushed, it is vital they do not find out your origins.
