Patrol Falcon

Remake of almost 25 years old 8bit shooter by Virgin Games. Simple as can be: using four cursor keys and space, flying left and right, you must defend your ground facilities from enemy bombing squads.

Designer: Staniol

"Patrol Falcon" is fun to play for a while and regarding graphics, sounds and controlling everything is alright with the game.

But it has one major flaw: There is only one single weapon and one type of enemy (two if you count the planes that are attacking you as an extra enemy type). So the game gets a bit monotone very soon.

But I think Staniol shows some potential as a game developer (it was his first game) and I'm looking forward to see more (hopefully more complex) games of him in the future.
