PDF files and Publisher

PDF files and Publisher

Hey again guys.

I am currently trying to make my workplaces monthly magazine into pdf files so they can be viewed on our website. Unfortunately, they are folded A4 size, so tis means that pages 1 and 14 are siding eachother instead of pages 1 and 2.
This means the PDF print ends up being:
Page
1-14
2-13
3-12
4-11
5-10
6-9
7-8

And that doesn't work properly. Does anybody know of a method to make it show like
1-2
3-4
5-6
7-8
9-10
11-12
13-14?

I use CutePDF to make PDF's.
Currently testing Life version 2.9 (With added second child)

What is the original format? .doc? You could try changing the options with word, and then doing the conversion. (But I do not really master the word, so I cannot tell exact instructions, nor can I tell if it works for sure...)

Sorry I wasn't being clear in the explanation of the issue. I use Microsoft Publisher for the newspaper. That means the extension is .pub. And it is extremely annoying, since we need the first kind of setup (1-14) for the actual paper version of the paper, but we need the 1-2 version for the pdf internet version.

Sorry C. I cannot help you then :( I have never used M$ Publisher, and I know no apps that support the pub files :( So I do not really know how to fix it.

EDIT: Oh, have you tried if word can open pubs? If it can, can you change the layout with word, save to pub/doc/whatever, and convert it to pdf then?

I haven't used Publisher at all either. I guess Publisher, like InDesign, has something that might be called "depagination". Or was it that you need to paginate in InDesign first, ie in InDesign the pages print out 1-12 by default... but I can't remember.
