Push-Push Penguin

Post by eMTe »

Push-Push Penguin is a remake of Sega's original 1982 arcade game Pengo.

Guide Pen-Pen or his sweetheart Deda-Deda around the mazes and try to crush all monsters on screen with the Ice Blocks scattered around. Use the Action button to push the ice block or crush it if it cannot be pushed.
If you face the outer wall and press the Action button then you will start
breathing the icy breath onto them which will make them freeze. If there are
any monsters walking by the frozen wall they will get instantly stunned and
you can use this ability to crush them with an ice block. Try to spell BONUS for surprise, and rack up combo scores by killing Snow Trolls in various imaginative ways.

Wow, I didn´t think of "Pengo" for years (I played it for a long time on my C64). But now as I see this thread and the screenshot I have the strong urge to play this game again.

I think I will download this remake tomorrow...

I used to play Pengo in the arcades. Somehow the graphics are completely, wrong... Sacrilege! ;)

Don't know why, but somehow this remake doesn't match with my memories of the original (and I think that's one of the most important things when you do a remake). Might be because of the graphics or the music, but something doesn't feel right.

Is there any way to save the progress?
