Guardian of Paradise

Excellent Zelda-like action-oriented game. This is not typical rpg maker game (maybe because it wasnt created with rpg maker  ). There's little rpg elements (except gaining new abilities, but there are no stats), so game is based on action and physical puzzles. Excellent graphics, good music, hours of fun gameplay. Strongly recommended.

This really is an excellent action game in console style. I played for nearly eight hours before I finished the game and wasn´t bored one single second!

The difficulty level isn´t too hard and so the game is always entertaining and gets never frustrating. But there is just one exception: In the last dungeon there was a puzzle with 5 lamps. It took me a long while to solve this, because there was no hint how to do it (there were hints to all the other puzzles).

So if you like console-style-action games (is this really an own genre?) you should try this one...

There was a puzzle in which you have to light some lamps to open a door. But you don´t have any clue which lamps to light and which should stay as they are.

I´m not sure anymore if this puzzle was in "Paradise" or in the "Fire World"...

Aaahhh, those lamps. :D Of course there is a clue, but you probably didnt find it. :P

Blocks are harder imho, because in this case you really dont have any clues.

But the block puzzles can always be solved with logical thinking or with simple trying. And if you do something wrong there´s no need to worry. You can just leave the room, return and try it again...
