Spider Hunting

Post by eMTe »

Simple arcade game, similar to fishing arcades (spider=fisherman, silk=fishing rod :P ). Two game modes, beautiful graphics, decent gameplay.

Installing this game made my McAfee work overtime. Apparently, it comes with plenty of spyware from MyPlayCity Games? I blocked all of it and got the game working, but it still insists on opening browser windows to send me places I don't want to go.

Conclusion: Evil adware disguised as freeware. (I could be wrong, but this amount of pop ups and warnings is not common)

It seems it loads another game when downloading through that link. I got something called Born to be big, not unlike other games we have tested before, where you have to eat smaller fish to get bigger. It came under the name of Spiderhunt-setup.exe so I doubt it is linked improperly.
Currently testing Life version 2.9 (With added second child)
(Beta testing in progress)

I got Spider Hunting back when I tried (the one in the screenshot), but I stand by my words that it was spy/adware. It wasn't a very good game anyway.
