Ikachan

Ikachan is a small, nicely done platform game in Cave Story style. Game was originally made in Japanese only, but there's also a translation available done (illegally?) by Rudy Caiman himself. :)

I found a much better translated version of this game:

Now I understand what the story is about, something that was nearly impossible before.
But I have to say that this version crashed when I levelled up from level 0 to level 1. But I got rid of that problem by using the poor translated .exe file of the game with the files of the better translated version first and exchanging the .exe after reaching level 1. Everything worked fine then...

It's sort of interesting to float about in this Japanese arcade puzzler, but there are many similar games that I'd pick over this one in a heartbeat.

I haven't completed the game, since I got a bit bored with it after a while. I liked the setup though and the feel of the game led me back to yonder youthfull years playing a variety of consoles with similar type games.

Good news! You don't have to search for a proper translation any longer as the game is now available at CWF (with a very decent translation). Please visit our game inf page:
