Game: Hurrican
Description: A beautiful looking Turrican clone, complete with most of the features frin the original Turrican. The visuals really are quite stunning. The developers are German but here is the latest translation via Babelfish of their progress from their website:
After 2006 were our announcement after already the Hurrican year, we make simply again one for 2007;) No in Ernst: We can hardly believe it, but it actually goes with giant steps toward release. The content is finished (up to the exit in the last level and still another few unpleasantnesses 1-2 other levels). That is, one can play Hurrican to the end from the front to in the back. For the rounding of the package are missing however still a few things: Setup tinker, music pieces and sounds co-ordinate and if necessary a little to the Stereoverteilung of the Songs turn, a last final test, a back door-free EULA formulate and Mirrors auschecken etc. etc.. Straight which concerns the Mirrors is I extremely positively surprised: Although I wrote only besides in a comment, amazingly many people offered directly their assistance. To the majority of people, from which I did not read something here on the side ever! Thanks! Gruendsaetzlich must express we times enormous praise to all, which bore it so for a long time with us and which never gave hope up and us to have ever further motivated. For you we made this play. The remainder can shear itself to the devil;) A detailed thank speech and before all "of-that-soul-talk" before release again will briefly follow. Now I want to seize myself however rather briefly. In this sense: Bear still another little, you it soon created!

Looks amazing.

It seems that whole project is being developed by three (!) people. Even more amazing.

This has now been released, weighing in at around 40mb. It's pretty damn cool too.
