Well, most of us remembers Day of the tentacle, and the ones who don't have spend way to much time smoking illegal substanses....

Day of the tentacle saw you trying to rescue the world from being taken over by a Purple tentacle, called....Purple...

You played three kids in each their own time-period, future, past and present. One more screwed up than the other...

Unfortunately this game only features Bernard, so Hoagie and Laverne will not be part of this onufficial sequel... (At least it says so one place and purely contradicts another place)

FRom the screenshots it seems we might be stumbling on some old friends in the game.

so many Lucasarts intellectual property violations in so few screenshots... if lucasarts' law departement hears about this, they are probably forced to try to do something about this.

Forums are visited by German speakers mostly, but it seems to me there's some progress. My German skills are very limited though. Translation please?

Some users don't believe the game will ever be published, but the developers swear that they're still working on it and there also seems to be an internal demo of the game.

So there seems to be only small progress and we don't have to expect this game to be released this year.

Small progress according to development history, mostly in graphics and animation. Nothing spectacular happens I feel.

They changed the engine (it's now Wintermute), game is now simply called "Return of the Tentacle" and there is a new homepage:
