Shadow Armada is a turn-based action game where your objective is to destroy all enemy ships. In each round you can either move your ship(s) or fire the missile. Sounds easy, but multitude of different ships and weapons make game complex and hard to master.

Strange?!? Do you have enough money? If you spent more for your three spaceships than you have, the game won´t let you start (but I´m not sure if it´s possible to spend too much money with three ships).
If it still don´t work you can try an online game instead. If there are no other players in the lobby (which is the case very often), you can play against a computer opponent instead.

I will look into if I spent too much money, but I am pretty sure I didn't. Otherwise I will look into an online game.

When I first read about "Shadow Armada", I was very interested, because I like turn-based strategy games and there are not too many good freeware titles in this genre.
And in fact it is a very nice game and even better than I expected. The game itself is very complex because of the great variety of spaceships, weapons and missions you can choose from. Even when you use the three different tutorials before you start the "real" game it will take some time before you know the different effects and the pros and contras of every ship and weapon. And probably even longer before you figure out the right tactics to destroy your enemy and win a game for the first time.
It' just a shame that there aren't too many online players around most of the time. This kind of game is much more fun when you can play against real humans instead of the computer.
