The New Satan Sam

Post by Chroelle »

This is mix of puzzle and action platform game. The game included 127 levels, 10 worlds, 14 big bosses, Support for 2 players (Co-op), Support for 4 save files, unlockable secrets and a lot of weapons.

Completing levels requires the player to utilize weapons and objects at their disposal, be it to destroy bad guys or flip a switch or whatever. Knowledge of items is key to beating this game, as well as good reflexes. Without giving too much away, you can mix around Sam's powers for interesting combinations. You will learn more of these in game.

I think this platformer is brilliant. Seemingly long playtime (haven't fiished yet). Good story, and new way of thinking. This is not the blessed child destined to fight evil for good. This is the damned child destined to fight evil(er) or join them...

You get great fighting options in this game. I so far got:
1: Massive fireball-laser thingy and small blasts that I can fire level and downwards as bombs.
2: Sword that I can do tricks with, and make thundering running attacks with.
3: Rocketlauncher....Well we all know what that can do. And this one does it twice a second.
4: Ki Powers that lets me lift enemies and throw them in the face of other enemies...

On top of this I can still jump on top of them (but you wont...its too boring) and ignite bombs and throw them on top of them. Oh and these bombs dont really just go boom.... They go.... Well...they take just a little piece of your eyesight with you every time they go off...Didn't get that...play the game!

No way this is leaving my HD anytime soon.
And I am not one for platforms.

This is my ultimate "gotta get back to" game. Anyone else played it yet?

I played for 10 minutes to take screenshots, I think? That mustn't have been long enough, because I was totally underwhelmed.

I can only recommend trying it for a bit longer. It definently warms up to you.
