Volunteer for a sitemap

Post by Chroelle »

We really need a volunteer for a sitemap. It is hard work but it will pay off immensly. A sitemap could help us get a more visitors, since Google seems to love them.

I'm too busy myself, but if someone volunteers, then I will help out as much as I can.

No need to say: This person will become crew.

A sitemap is a site on a homepage linking to all the important things on the site. You have to write it like:

To find out more about smilies and avatars go here: Link...
To find quality freeware games go here:

And such. It is very important that the links be described with as many keywords as possible. This makes it easier for Google and other searchengines to catalog the site and thereby sending more people over...

I think that it is important that we find someone that will do this as we are starting up, as it makes the whole startup of a sitemap even easier.

What I would really love was if someone took responsibility for this, and then the international mods contributed with all new threads with more than say 5 posts in them. This way we could get a GREAT sitemap.

I will as said be more than willing to take some of the workload, but I would like someone else to take responsibility for gathering the info. This way I can concentrate on other things on this forum as it starts up.

But I need volunteers. Maybe a team... Including mods or dedicated members of international forums...

A PM it is. Generally you will need some help with this. It takes a lot of online time. First we should maybe just make a thread in feedback, where people could post their descriptions of threads.

If you start out with the Danish then I will try and find someone(s) for the English.
