Nick Bounty: A case of the crabs

Post by Pater Alf »

A very nice flash-adventure-game made in film-noir style. Graphics (all in black-white) and sounds are fine and the whole atmosphere is great.

Also the story is very funny and I had to laugh a lot while playing the game ("The Boss wants to see you! - The Boss? Bruce Springsteen??? Are you from the E-Street-Band? ;)).

Nick Bounty is absolutely my favourite game series (when it comes to freeware). The game is played out in a film-noir setting, which really adds to the atmosphere of the gameplay.
You are expecting dames in distress, and large mafia-bosses, and you wont be disappointed. Nick Bounty has a view to a case of the crabs...
And he has this itchy feeling that he needs to get to the bottom of it.

When you are done playing this first game, go forth and join up with Nick Bounty in "The goat in the grey fedora."
The same developer also made Brain Hotel. Even though it does not feature Nick Bounty it is still worth a play-through.

We are all hoping for a third installment in the Nick bounty series.
Currently testing Life version 2.9 (With added second child)

I've written a walkthrough for "Nick Bounty: A case of the Crabs". You can download it at the game info page (.txt file)
