Alien Breed Obliteration

Post by Eric »

Alien Breed Obliteration is a remake of the original game - "a top-down sci-fi shoot'em-up game, with aspects similar to the film Aliens. Your mission is to blast your way to the heart of the alien invasion picking up ammo, keys, health, money and weapons along the way. Your ultimate goal of course is to find a means to terminate these nasty monsters for good".

Very good remake, but scrolling is a bit sluggish... At least on my comp. How I miss Amiga times...

Also, game seems to be a bit harder than original - monsters are faster and more ferocious. Or my memory betrays me...

This game will send your adrenaline pumping through your veins like a kid closing in on christmas presents...
A GREAT game, with lots of exciting shoot-the-monsters action for hours and hours.
It is hard however, and more than once, you will experience monsters homing in on your position, and you are firing at every shadow, and sound just to see if you can survive... (You can't). This game is certainly worth the download.
If you give up, the developer site has cheats for the game, so go look there if you need some extra help with getting through this game.
Small download. Big fun.

As hard as any shooter will ever be. You have so many things working against you - not enough keys, not enough ammo, not enough health, not enough lives, not enough cash, and way, way, WAY too many aliens swarming you.

Always a good blast with a friend!

Some members of the GH's have had issues with playing this game, so if you have any problems like:
failed if(!m_gammacontrol.Init(m_pDDSPrimary)) (OGRE HAD THIS ONE)
I also tried to play the game. In fact I got it running, but the speed was much to slow to play it in an accepteble way (PA HAD THIS ONE)

You can try two things. Ask PA and OGRE if they solved these issues, OR
check the official forum: http://jesterpunk.proboards46.com/index.cgi
