It's not that obscure Icarus, it was and in some circles still is a critically acclaimed game. To aid you further, here is the title screen with the title blotted out.

I'm pretty sure its Gumball but can't be 100% sure - in fact, I can't see what else it could be.

For anyone who's interested "Feud" is a pretty good game in which two rival wizards must collect ingredients for spells in order to zap each other - fairly unique, here are some links:

By the way... if anyone gets this next one I'll be REALLY REALLY impressed - they would deserve some sort of reward. This was a game I rather mysteriously had (in its box). However, I had but could never play it because it was for *I think* an Amstrad CPC (or else a C64) which I never had. Where it came from I'll never know.

AHH, I've played that game! It look like one of the Llama games... but I really can't remember... they're all bundled in my mind with the Mutant Camel games. Jeff what's-his-name... Man, that's a long time ago...

EDIT: Jeff Minter of famed Llamasoft. But I can't find the game, so it was probably something inspired by those...

Scythe - you're totally on the right tracks here. Ill give you one clue - this game has an outrageous title.

EDIT: I've been doing a bit of digging about to see just how HARD this is to find. To give you an idea Mobygames doesn't list it!!! And it is not listed either on the two biggest C64 sites: www.c64.com/ and www.lemon64.com/. It is mentioned on a couple of other c64.

However - you can find good info on it here, one of the best resources on the web: http://www.worldofspectrum.org/

And there is also a 2001 fan remake on underdogs.

To give one final bit of help - although Jeff Minter produced it, it ISN'T listed as being made by Llamasoft but some other publisher I've never heard of. In other places it is listed as by Llamasoft.

Damn this is OBSCURE.

Of course. It's Meta-Galactic Llamas Battle at the Edge of Time. And I actually played it once upon a time. Makes you wonder what kind of stimulants good old Jeff was using. :pipe:
