I have a CD burner, but it would be too much work to burn down 800 MP3's, and 15 GB futurama ect... I'll need a specialist to help me split the harddisk up too

dvd burner? I dunno. Chillum, take your box to a friends house who has some spare hd space (you could use mine but it is a long way to travel). Make the root of your hard disk shared and copy everything over. Once you have backed it up then use windows setup disk to delete partitions and create two partitions - make sure the storage partition is bigger than the one you want windows on and the windows partition is at least 10gig. On a 80 gig hd I would say a 20/60 split is fine and install windows on the 20 gig partition. If you do this next time you ever have a problem (or accidentally break your windows install) you can safely re-install on the 20gig partition without losing data on the 60 gig part. You can even have 3 partitions and run windows and linux on a dual boot system. When you have finished network them again and transfer your data back. It can all be done in an afternoon if you know what you're doing.
