Stumbled upon several excellent freeware games (Trilby: The Art of Theft, TAGAP, What Makes You Tick, A Tale of Two Kingdoms) in the 2007 time travel thread at GOG's forum. That brought back some great memories at this place and the time I spent here.

So I just wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone who is still around once in a while. Glad this forum still exists!

Counted!!

I will keep the retro vibe alive no matter fluctuations.

Including New Orleans/Gabriel Knight inspired trip, for anyone from Europe or Australia interested.

When I was in Munich last fall, I checked a couple of places from Gabriel Knight 2 including the town hall at Marienplatz with it's famous Glockenspiel, Prinzregentenplatz, the building where Harald Übergrau's, Gabriel's lawyer, office is located.

There was no trace of the Königlich-Bayerische Hofjagdloge in Dienerstrasse though. It's the Royal Bavarian Hunting Lodge, where Gabriel encounters Baron von Glower 😁

Open Source devs say AI crawlers dominate traffic, forcing blocks on entire countries. This is true even for this forum, the AI crawlers from the companies you know and love constitute the vast majority of visitors even to these forums. I've no idea why they need to hammer this forum, it's not like the content here updates much. It's all very silly. Fortunately it's not a problem, as this site is proxied through Cloudflare.
