It is an MMOFPS in that you're on a huge continent that's 8 x 8 km in size. And you can move seamlessly throughout the whole continent without zone transitions of any kind.
It is free-to-play. You can pay for cosmetics, but you are able to unlock everything that matters by just playing the game.
There are 3 different factions in the game. The Terran Republic, The New Conglomerate, and the Vanu Sovereignty. The different factions fight for control over the territory and bases.
As infantry, you're able to change between 6 different classes with different roles. You can get various vehicles, from tanks to aircraft.
No other game i know of, has that much potential of tactics and teamplay on so many levels as this. Both continent wide, and more local small scale tactics.

Battles take place not between dozens of troops, but thousands; with air and ground vehicles slugging it out alongside squads of troops. Whether in open fields, tightly packed urban centers or enormous structures, planning, teamwork and communication are essential.
