Also, I liked your "poison" answer to the previous question. It's better than anything I could come up with. :)

This one is fun, although lateral.

Many years ago the perfect man and the perfect woman met. After perfect engagement they had a perfect wedding ceremony. Their married life was of course...perfect.

One Christmas Eve, during heavy snowfall, they were travelling the winding road in their perfect car, when they saw someone ahead. It was Santa Claus himself with huge bag of presents, asking for a lift! As perfect people they couldn't disappoint the children of course, so they decided to help and took Santa Claus, together with his bag, to the car and begun delivering presents. Unfortunately, after short time they had a crash and only one person survived.

Which one?

I accidentally deleted your post, Chrolle, instead of mine (I wanted to replace my first - wrong - reply with correct one). So if you remember what you said please repeat, but I can tell you that you were wrong. Anyway, sorry. :|

I believe I was apraising your good looks and charm. :)
(Tihihi)

Nah -I said I believed the answer to be the perfect man since neither Santa nor the perfect woman exist. (And that women was welcome to disagree).

And so I repeat that the answer is wrong. Perfect woman survived, because neither Santa nor perfect man exist. But...if they don't exist it also means that she was at the wheel and caused the accident. ;)

This one's good.

Your last good ping-pong ball fell down into a narrow metal pipe imbedded in concrete one foot deep.
How can you get it out undamaged, if all the tools you have are your tennis paddle, your shoe-laces, and your plastic water bottle, which does not fit into the pipe?

You fill the water from the bottle into the pipe?

One family wants to get through a tunnel. Dad can make it in 1 minute, mama in 2 minutes, son in 4 and daughter in 5 minutes. Unfortunately, not more than two persons can go through the narrow tunnel at one time, moving at the speed of the slower one.

Can they all make it to the other side if they have a torch that lasts only 12 minutes and they are afraid of the dark?

If I am correct I don't really have to answer your second question, do I? ;)

No time for solving it now. Maybe someone other desires to step in?

Hmm... My first thought doesn't seem to work, but I'll share it anyway...

Father and daughter go first and take 5 minutes.

Father carries torch back and takes 1 minute.

Father and son go and take 4 minutes.

Father carries torch back and takes 1 minute.

Father and mother go and take 2 minutes.

That's a total of 13 minutes, so there must be some trick to it that I'm missing. I'll have to give it some more thought... (I hope the answer doesn't involve the father carrying his children or putting out the torch and overcoming his fear of the dark or something like that) :P

EDIT: Okay, I got it...

Father and mother take 2 minutes.

Father carries torch back and takes 1 minute.

Son and daughter take 5 minutes.

Mother carries torch back and takes 2 minutes.

Father and mother take 2 minutes.

Total = 12 minutes! :D

I disapprove of this puzzle because of its inherent sexism.
