Our dog imitates sounds all the time, I always thought it was mean too. But now he says hello. Doesn't openly say it because he has no idea what it means...but if you say hello to him he'll sort of say it back...more like, "a-roooowowwwwowww" (not quite sure how to spell that).
It is just tricks...ie. our dog doesn't hake hands when you say, "shake", we taught him to do it when you say, "Pleased to meet you," then he offers his paw. Just as long as they give her a cookie afterwards, if they make the dog talk and don't reward, that is bad.

I dont think they dont know the consequences. After all, this fella has his own Facebook profile and quite a number of followers, so his owners are probably perfectly knowing what theyre doing... They dont show giving cookie, but since all clips are constructed of heavily cut videos I think they just sacrificed the reward part to make clips more coherent, showing only the funny parts.

I truelly love this guy. He is a great speaker and he has some great points that could/should be used more to debate how schools work, and how we see and think education.
