Five years after her demise, Janet Burdie is granted a "night out" to make her greatest wish come true: Submitting her signature cake to the famous C3 baking competition. Unfinished business is tricky business, though, and the teenage zombie may find there's even more to this very special night shift...
Features cake, a cute zombie, lots of coffee and tongue-in-cheek humour. It was made for the AGS MAGS (games created in under one month) competition of July 2011.

Re: Chance Of The Dead
I really like the graphics and the music of this game. But as an adventure game it doesn't work very well, because of the very easy puzzles (not sure if I can really call them puzzles, because everything is more than obvious) and the shortness.
Good fun for half an hour though.

Adventure games back then were fun for a month or longer.Pater Alf wrote:Good fun for half an hour though.

It took me without a word of a lie, 8 years to beat Kings Quest 3. That's the kind of gaming frustration I yearn for in an adventure game.

But only because there was no internet and we had no chance to look for clues or walkthroughs, except to wait for the next issue of a gaming magazine (which was always a month away)...eMTe wrote:Adventure games back then were fun for a month or longer.

Internet is here, but I still don't look for clues and don't use walkthroughs.

I use them from time to time when the only other option would be to quit the game, because I'm completely stuck.
