A great zombie themed survival game. It is your task to survive for a certain time in each level and have to find out how. There's not only one solution, so you have to come out with your own strategies and ideas.
"Take control of Amber Chaplin, a 20 year old girl being plagued by the walking dead. After witnessing her brothers violent death at the hands of a bloodthirsty cannibal Amber flees her attacker and the cemetary the two had arrived at just a few minutes prior. But its gettings dark. The trees are melding together and she's being pursued by shadows in the distance. Hope seems all but lost before she discovers a large house in the clearing up ahead. But the house is deserted, there are no ideal weapons at hand and there are no phones. Can she last indside the house until sunrise? What then, will she be rescued? Or will she be consumed by the ones out there, those unrelenting things that seem to be driven by one impulse alone, one undying urge. To Eat.
• 15 unique weapons, as well as your own deadly innovations.
• 4 varieying modes of gameplay each with its own difficulty. Including a story mode.
• Special options and a reward system that allow you to earn new items and become stronger.
• Over 1000 original frames of oldschool pixel animation. As well as some shoddy game art." (taken from the official homepage)

Since I was in the mood for (ANOTHER!!) zombie game, I tried it out. Fun for a while, but I really don't like how the game punishes you for playing well (the "better" you do, the more zombies you get tossed in your face, but you don't get any additional resources).

If you don't like that you can turn it off in the options.

I like the pseudo-realistic background, far from usual dull brick pattern type backgrounds. Ill give it a try.

I am positively surprised. I expected shmup, but received tactical game with puzzle elements where agility counts, of course, but also every move should be planned to make your survival most effective. There are also drawbacks, like too complex and very unintuitive controls, but if this is guy's first game I am in.

Re: Survivor - The Living Dead
Still I sit back and hope with yet another Zombie survival game that you are actually able to survive, and it is not all just a matter of time before you die. I want a happy ending (of sorts) or at least the ability to build up something stable to withstand the zombies... I hope some developer will at one point decide to pick my brain (to use a term often used regarding zombies) before he decides to make a zombie-game.

Re: Survivor - The Living Dead
I wish I could reach story mode, but my tactics fail in 14 minute attack. Otherwise, I'd be ready to vote on this game soon, for once in a blue moon.
