Once Upon A Crime

Post by eMTe »

Parodise, a small world where characters of fairytale lore leave happily ever after... A strange place for sure, but there's obviously a reason why such a world should exist. Sometimes, however, tales run wild.

Little Red Riding Hood, for once, has had it with constant delivery of baskets to remote forest cottages. She wanted a job- and after some training became a private investigator.

Parodise is in need of a skilled junior PI right now. Someone killed the Big Bad Wolf. Someone seems to have a plan. Someone... but whodunnit? And howdunnit? And whydunnit indeed?

Classic AGS adventure with loads of humour and challenging puzzles.

I like the idea but it sounds a little "Hoodwinked" to me... :HM:

The game was very nice and I liked it until the real villain was revealed. Then it got quite dark and very weird and I think it was a mistake of the developers to create such a break in story and atmosphere.

But it's still a good adventure game for the most time. The graphics are colourful and nice and even the puzzles are better as in many other AGS games.

The game had some fun dialogue and a comprehensive and unexpected story. Yet i find point'n'clickers rather boring because most of the time you have to guess what the author was thinking at that particular part of the game, to find out what to to.
