RotoCube

Post by eMTe »

The goal in each level of RotoCube is to arrange 9-square blocks so that squares on each block were of the same colour. Similar to Rubik's Cube, only there are 9 "sides" and game is 2-dimensional. Each move can be undone at any point. At the beginning of each level game hints you in how many moves you should solve the puzzle (ie: how many moves has been done to destroy the set). I find it entertaining.

A good simple puzzler. Starts really easy and becomes more complex as you progress,

RotoCube requires alleg40 dll file; if you dont have it, game wont start. You can download it here:

I was discouraged at first, because I didnt like the limitation of moves - in such games I prefer to scramble everything and click endlessly to reach the goal. From around level 11 or 12 it got to me that this hintful number of required moves is actually a salvation. RotoCube twists mind, similarly to this game with wheels and cards, iforgotitsname.

Neat and fun Rubik's Cube clone without multitude of unnecessary options, but demanding in gameplay. Recommended for VERY patient people.

Nice, even if it gets pretty hard after a few levels. I have to admit that I'm quite a looser when it comes to that kind of logic games. But I like this one and will play it some more.
