That's how I left my father after my mother died, alone in the house and without conscience that loneliness can push him into drinking. Even the man who never drank alcohol. End of topic.

On another note...I am happy because I have more hours a day to myself...how? you ask...I gave up Facebook!
I completely removed my account because I got tired of seeing people whine and complain, and just downright misusing Facebook, and only utilizing it as a pity-forum.
It was easier to remove people that I am related to from Facebook, when you remove it all together.

I have also told work I no longer have a cell phone (even though I still have one for emergencies), and have told everyone around me that I no longer have one. I'm tired of being reached 24/7 by everyone...and you know what, I couldn't be happier! :D :D :D

Good for you, Facebook is the Devil!

As for phones, I had a couple of years where I didn't own a phone. :) Then I did get one, but was never home to pick it up. Now, I have a cell for my job, but since everybody learned over the years that they can never reach me, nobody ever calls. :D

I'm happy because the film festival is well under way, I have a week off with movies every night! And tonight it's time for Nude Nuns with Big Guns!! A midnight showing obviously.

Great decision to give up Facebook and cell phones, Pager!

I really believe that the 24/7 reachability is much more a curse than a blessing. You can pretty well live without being reachable for everybody round around the clock.

Hm...well, I amsad to see you leave Facebook, as I tended to see what you were up to through there, but I can simply ask you in here then? :)
But I can see that it would help to give up FB, though when you have kids in my line of work, you have to have a cellphone, as we have opening hours, so my daughters kindergarten couldn't reach me if she was sick out of hours... But I am never going to give up my cellphone, and when I no longer need Facebook for practical stuff, like the next reunion for my old class, and promoting my blog, then perhaps that goes...! I am not an addict on Facebook though. I have a few friends that live in the States, and in the furthest reaches of the country, and its nice to follow their lives and talk to them through FB. I dont do pity-giving on FB! Seems misplaced to me. If a friend is in need, I would call them up, instead of typing "do not like" in their status...!

Even though Maria had to drive the bus today, I am happy because I got more track wired on my railroad. Also built a new factory buildng, and the office annex is detailed inside with little desks, chairs, file cabinets, and people. When it is lit up on the layout, you would be able to look in the windows and see something!

It seems, even though I am busy as *ell currently, that things have a tendency to work out for me.

Lots of workstuff going my way, and lots of my personal life going the same way...

But, let's agree, 2:2 is the clear picture of the match.

Still, we have the best goalkeeper in the world, if not now, maybe in two years.

Yep, your goalkeeper was great, especially in the first half. And all in all a win for Poland would've been ok, because your team was more willing and played with more heart. The German squad did a little too much testing in this match and therefore wasn't able to perform their normal powerplay.

Well, he's 21 years old. I don't remember any recent-years goalies like Schmeichel, van der Saar, Casillas or Buffon playing on that level in their youth years. He's a star, just because of his age.

Well I could join in and say GOAL, but that would have been something I was happy about a couple of days ago (when Denmark beat Norway 2-0 in a great match) but today I am happy about the weekend hitting in 3-2-1...HURRA!
