Re: Until I'm Gone
Went to the site today...here was a post from August 4, 2010...sounds promising:
"There hasn't been an update for quite a long time now. So what does that mean exactly...?! Even though many people tend to think so, the project is neither cancelled or forgotten. Let me just make myself clear one more time: should we ever cancel the project (and that's not happening) we would announce it loud and clear, no hiding and no *playing* with our fans. But the thing is that the project is still up and running so don't be expecting an announcement like that
. Some personal issues emerged in the lives of some of our team members and they are slowing down and sometimes even suspending the development process. Like now for example, as there has been little to no progress in the past few months (!, yeah sadly). But that doesn't mean that the project has been cancelled, just that it WAS suspended and in a week or two from now it will get back on track. We've covered the reasons several times already (see the Articles section on the left). The project remains free and considering its scope and quality some delays are unfortunately inevitable. Eventually you can see it on other projects with similiar ambitions. To ease your anxiety we present to you a preview of how the graphics of Until I'm Gone project improved over time. These aren't exactly screenshots from this game (it's a different game that Faraway Studios is helping to develop), but they still reflect quite well the graphic quality you can expect from the UIG project. We hope you enjoy and don't worry: we're gonna finish this!

Re: Until I'm Gone
I still want to see this game finished even when the first announced realease date was nearly four years ago. The game still looks and sounds promising. I hope it won't be a big disapointment in the end.

Re: Until I'm Gone
LEt me say it this way. I am part of the development crew in the way that I am a translator, and I haven't heard from this guy in about a year or so, so I am feeling like you PA. I am getting nervous this game will never see the light of day - maybe it wont get cancelled but perhaps it will just never get released as they keep updating engines graphics story etc, so the game will look its best when it comes out. I really hope to be able to play this some time within the next year but I am not sure I will. So far translations are only made for the 1st section of chapter 1, and there are plenty of chapters in this game.

You know a bot is a bot when it tells how it finished this game and was happy that we told "him"(it) about it...

There's an update from March 5th, 2011. They are just reassuring they have not abandoned the project.

Re: Until I'm Gone
I e-mailed the guys at Faraway and asked if they needed any help getting this out the door, essentially due to the fact that I really want to play it, but never heard anything back...

Re: Until I'm Gone
Which guy did you email? Roman was always my contact, but I haven't even had a x-mas greeting from him this year. At least I got that last year - with yet another confirmation that the game was still being developed, so no worries. Well I worry now!

Re: Until I'm Gone
It seems they changed the website. They are going to HIRE a programmer to get the game done. They dont want the game to be abandoned as well.
